Review by Rayanna Jamison
Mob Mistress is the second book in Renee’s Bossman Series, which centers around a mafia family. So, let’s start there. The fact that Renee can take something with negative connotations of scary ruthless men, and make them into such lovable heroes speaks volumes for her story telling skills. These books show a much softer and possibly more realistic side of a modern day mafia family, which is admittedly, something I know nothing about. I learned a few very interesting things while reading this book, which proves that any and all reading can be educational, even erotic romance.
Lexi Tyler is down on her luck in a big way. After being in an accident that left her with lots of medical bills, no car, and some PTSD to boot, she hasn’t been able to catch up on bills. She is evicted from her apartment, and dangerously close to losing her chair at the salon where she works as well. When her friend Gina suggests she knows a sugar daddy who might be willing and able to help Lexi out, Lexi’s first instinct is to laugh it off, and say “Thanks, but no thanks.”
But when she meets Bobby Manghini, the man in question, things begin to change. She can’t deny the way she responds to him, and she does need help. Bobby, for a member of ‘the family’ is actually a pretty moral guy, who uses his connections to get jobs, but doesn’t actually break any laws. He enjoys the power play of having a “goomah”, which apparently is mafia speak for mistress, but he knows how to treat a lady. Lexi goes along with it, even though she thinks he is married, and Bobby lets her think that. The troubles actually arise when she finds out he isn’t married. Bobby has had his reasons in the past for keeping his love life and his personal life separate, but he is forced to re-evaluate why he really does this, and what it does for his relationships, and his relationship with Lexi in particular.
I never like to go too much into a summary, and to give things away, so I am going to stop there, and move onto my impressions. This was a quick read that was smoking hot. The characters were believable and loveable, even though I had my reservations going in, it didn’t take me long to fall head over heels for the sweet talking mobster and the down on her luck stylist. As with any Renee Rose book, everything was damn near perfect. The sex scenes were just right, not too little and not too much. The spankings were out of this world swoon-worthy, and the epic one liners had me using the highlight function on my kindle for the first time ever.
“Don’t worry. If you tell me to back off at any point I will. I come on strong, and I play a little rough, but I know how to treat a lady.” –Bobby Manghini
That was one of my favorite lines from the book, and a nice summary of the character of Bobby Manghini. It’s a powerful line, in my opinion, and there are many others like it. Once she got going, the author nailed it in almost every sentence. Don’t take my word for it. Read it for yourself.
The Bishop’s First Bride is a delightful spanking romance set in Rayanna Jamison’s fictional polygamist community of Green Valley. This is the third in her love multiplied series.
Blurb: Rosa Collins was only sixteen when she received a vision telling her of her future husband. Knowing that her husband would be Lucas, the Bishop’s son, and future Bishop of Green Valley, both thrilled and terrified her. They were a match made in heaven, she knew, perfect for each other.
But becoming the Bishop’s Wife is harder than Rosa anticipated. She struggles to transform herself into the perfect Bishop’s Wife that her husband needs.
Lucas misses the real Rosa. Somewhere between getting married, and becoming the future Bishop’s wife, his beloved wife has lost part of herself. Lucas knows that a good, old fashioned spanking is exactly what Rosa needs to help her find balance in her unrealistic expectations of what the perfect wife should be. But, try as he might, that balance doesn’t come easily for Rosa, and it certainly didn’t help that her high school nemesis kept popping up and making trouble.
Will Lucas help her realize that all he wants is for his wife to be happy? Can Rosa pull herself together enough to become the Bishop’s First Wife?
Rosa, the heroine, is the younger sister of Beth Anne whom we met in Bride Two Soon. I believe, if I followed the family tree correctly, that Beth Anne and Rosa have the same father but different mothers because they were raised in a polygamist family. It was fun to get an update on Beth Anne and Ben, since I enjoyed their story when I read it.
Rayanna Jamison has a knack for writing sweet, non-erotic spanking romance with likeable characters and enough hints of passion that you can use your imagination to fill in the details. In fact, I found the references to modesty in dress and behavior to be refreshing and sort of sexy.
Rosa was a likeable and relatable heroine who gets herself into scrapes for doing things that we all do…eavesdropping, losing our tempers with bitches, or maybe being a tiny bit jealous.
Other than Rayanna’s books, my only “experience” with polygamy is the television show Sister Wives, which is such a train wreck I had to stop watching. Rayanna presents polygamy in a realistic manner which makes the appeal of the lifestyle a bit more understandable.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more of Rayanna’s Love Multiplied books.

I was very impressed by this book. It’s Ms. Reynold’s first one, yet her story came off as one written by a well seasoned author.
Molly is a young woman who is in need of some guidance. She had a rough upbringing, which causes her to secretly desire to be taken care of by a firm and loving Daddy. Dr. Alexander is just the man for the job. After meeting Molly and making a quick judgement that she is a kind person who he wants to protect, he gives her a job in his office when she falls on hard times.
I really did like this book. The writing was detailed without overly describing any scene. Ms. Reynolds did an excellent job at getting me to fall in love with her characters, especially Molly.
Molly is a very sweet character who will stand up to anyone who she thinks is causing an injustice. Ms. Reynolds also made her characters so realistic. Molly, the little, was a size 8 in clothing, instead of the typical 100 pound littles that many AP authors describe their littles to be. (Something that I myself am guilty of.)
Ms. Reynolds even had a scene in her book of something that I personally am not a fan of, yet I was able to read it and enjoy it. The only complaint that I have is, this book was too short! I’m really hoping that Ms. Reynolds writes a second book…maybe about Dave and some lucky lady? With that all being said, I give
I highly recommend The Doctor’s Little Girl! It was a fun, quick, sweet read. I really can’t wait to see what else Ms. Reynolds comes up with.
Review by Celeste Jones
Blurb: Twenty-two-year-old Natalie has three dominant men in her life. Tom, her daddy, spoils her even while making sure her bratty behavior is dealt with firmly over his knee. Dan is a doctor whose intimate examinations always leave Natalie blushing… and begging for more. And last there is Adam, the dom who gave Natalie her very first spanking and who still holds a special place in her heart. The only problem is that none of the men know about one another, and Natalie is afraid they will all leave her if they find out the truth.
When they discover that Natalie has been dishonest with them, there is only one solution: she must be taught a lesson. The men bring Natalie to a beautiful island resort, planning to give her a memorable stay. She’ll have three days of fun in the sun, but also three days of harsh punishment with each man taking his turn, and then on the final day Natalie will learn what it is like for a naughty girl to be thoroughly punished by her daddy, her dom, and her doctor, all at once.
Publisher’s Note: Her Daddy, Her Dom, and Her Doctor is an erotic novel that includes spankings, age play, medical play, anal play, BDSM, sexual scenes including a foursome, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
Well, Natalie is one lucky girl. She has three dominant men who love and care about her, each one is a little different—Tom the teddy bear who fulfills all her needs as a little, Dan the eldest of the three is a doctor who gives thorough Victorian exams, and Adam the professional dom who first showed Natalie the pleasure of submission.
Although there has been no talk of exclusivity, the men are all a little surprised when they figure out they are all seeing, and growing attached to, the same young lady.
Rather than fisticuffs or dueling pistols, the men take Natalie to Fiji for several days of fun and punishment.
This is a very hot story with a longer list of sexual positions and implements than I can list. There’s something for everyone and maybe a few things you hadn’t considered.
It’s clear that all three men love their Natalie but they are also able to see the benefits each of the others bring to their special girl and I was surprised that there wasn’t more jealousy or competition but it seems that they each set those emotions aside (if they had them) in order to focus on the adored Natalie.
This is a hot little number that will keep you warm at night.
