His Captive’s Captive was a thrilling, erotic sci-fi story that pulled readers in from page one.
This was a great story. I enjoyed how Ms. Ripley created a world of her own. From the evil Zon to the sweet Arlen. Each piece of technology that I read about was new and pulled me further and further in to the story.
I loved the tension Ms. Ripley created between Arlen and Rhihann. Arlen being the sci-fi version of a detective on the verge of solving a huge crime case captures Rhihann, who was attempting to steal his ship. It was cute to see the two end up putting aside their differences and work together to save the galaxy. There were a couple of times that I didn’t think the couple would make it, but they always did. The spankings that Arlen administered to Rhihann definitely helped at times.
Additionally, the villains that Ms. Ripley created were so evil. From the very first time that she introduces us to them, I disliked them. I was cheering for Arlen and Rhihann to shut down their cruel operations and bring them to justice!
If you’re looking for a sci-fi adventure, with a lot of love, look no further!

Lyra is a strong, feisty woman from Earth who has an arranged marriage to the handsome and equally strong Astor, the King of another planet. Their lovemaking is fiery and passionate, but their marriage becomes a battlefield as Lyra suspects her husband of being involved in the death of her husband.
The two are constantly at odds and Astor resorts to spanking his wife to try to persuade her to cease her rebellious ways, but Lyra resists him at every turn, despite her being very attracted to him sexually.
The plot contains lots of action and some very spicy sex and spankings. The two are very likeable characters and I found myself willing them to solve their problems and find the true love that I was sure could be theirs. The story holds your attention throughout and I found it a very enjoyable read.

Subjugated is a sci-fi book from the wicked imagination of Emily Tilton and boy does it hit the mark, on every level. The premise is naughty in every way. Set in the future, in a western American town called Springfield (yes, she named it in a nod to the Simpson’s fair city, which made me giggle), the mayor’s daughter has been set to be “subjugated” by an army officer.
This heathenistic practice involves wearing a red thong, being punished and sexually initiated and humiliated in every possible way (on live camera) by the officer, then led to the town’s square to be publicly punished and sexually used by the soldiers. So, there’s nothing not hot about that scenario: non-consent, complete domination, punishments, and dirty dirty sex. It’s pretty much delicious. To make it palatable, our hero is actually secretly a member of the resistance, but he must go through with the whole thing and make it a good show to keep both of them from being shot. So despite the over-the-top scenario, this is not a dark book. It’s definitely a pleasure read.
The premise is brilliant and the characters are charming, but Tilton ups the heat so much more by adding the whole exhibitionism/voyeur dynamic. The entire subjugation takes place on cameras with a voice-over expert describing things and giving his opinion (like a sports announcer). The hero himself also stops to talk to the cameras to buy himself time or give the heroine a break. This, of course, adds to the heroine’s embarrassment and discomfort, which of course makes it all the hotter.
I won’t spoil the ending, but there is a very sweet and satisfying HEA and of course, neither character cares to give up the D/s dynamic once it’s no longer mandated.
I recommend Subjugated to any fan of non-con or even those who aren’t sure if they’re fans. Trust me, after you’ve read this book, you will be!

Candi’s Debt is the best book I have read in a long time. It might be my favorite D/s/Spanking Romance/BDSM/ageplay book ever. I have to say when I started reading it, the grittiness of both characters made me hesitate, but I trust Aubrey Cara. I’ve loved all her other books, so I figured I would love this one, too. Boy, was I right. It’s my favorite book by Ms. Cara. I stayed up late into the night reading, and it was the first thing I grabbed when I woke up in the morning. Now that I’m finished, I can’t wait to read it again. Yes, it’s that compelling.
First of all, the writing is top notch. If I were to pick it apart as an author, I’d tell you this–Ms. Cara gets all the mechanics right. The verbs are so strong they punch you in the nose. The characters are vivid, their voices are unique. The descriptions put you solidly in the scenes.
But even without all that, I’d love this book. The story is right up my alley–a hot, dominant ex-military turned gun-for-hire hero and a scrappy, down-on-her-luck numbers genius heroine. Neither one is looking for a relationship, but their worlds keep colliding and the attraction is inescapable. The suspense sequences as both Hank and Candi tangle with the bad guys are thrilling. Hank is a swoon-worthy bad-ass. I might want him to be my next DaddyDom Book Boyfriend, except he’s so intense I’m a little intimidated by him.
The way Hank takes charge of Candi turned my knees weak. The D/s scenes were scorching hot–I’m pretty sure my Kindle burst into flames a few times while reading this book. If you’re looking for an action-packed book with the most alpha of heroes, look no further. Aubrey Cara never disappoints, but this one really hit it out of the park!
Charlie, a vampire is cursed. When he meets Sasha, a fairy, he believes that she can help him break his curse. Sasha isn’t so sure if she can help Charlie, but Charlie is sure that she can. The sparks begin to fly between these two characters and Sasha soon finds herself over Charlie’s lap for a bare bottom spanking. Now along with figuring out the mystery as to how to break the curse, Sasha has to figure out why she gets so turned on from the spankings that Charlie gave her.
I really enjoyed this story. The relationship that forms between Charlie and Sasha was a blast to watch. I liked how Sasha started out skittish around Charlie and then he was able to coax her to see that they would make a great pair.
It was also fun to read about the paranormal aspects in this story. Vampires have been so overdone these past few years. When I found out that Charlie was a vampire, I thought that it would wreck the story. However, Ms. Rose wrote Charlie so well, that I ended up not minding that Charlie was a vampire at all.
Toss in some passionate sex scenes and spicy spankings and His Captive Mortal turned out to be an outstanding book. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to what Ms. Rose decides to write next.
Forty-three and divorced, Lily Amis has put all her time and energy into building her business as a graphic designer. When her elderly aunt dies, leaving Lily responsible for cleaning out and selling her rural Montana home, it’s just a hitch in Lily’s well-organized life. She’ll be out of Montana in two months. Tops.
That’s what she thinks, anyway, until she meets Rob—the rancher next door. Rob tempts Lily on every level. His casual authority reawakens long buried dreams and desires, and when she discovers he finds the girlish submission in her heart every bit as exciting as she does, the banked fires of her sexuality reawaken to a roaring heat. Although she revels in the strict care and loving tenderness that he offers her, waking up to life forces Lily to face everything she’s left behind. When a fit of artistic inspiration causes Lily to defy both Rob and the orders of her new physician, kind but strict Dr. Mitford, Lily has quite a reckoning to face. Can Rob and Lily’s new love survive the pain that she has suppressed for so long?
Late Blooming Lily is the story of a middle aged woman who comes to Montana to settle her aunt’s estate. She meets a neighbor to whom she is drawn and with his help learns that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
The characters are well developed and totally believable and you find yourself drawn into the story from the very beginning.
This is the first story I’ve read by Bryony Kildare and I enjoyed the way she managed to weave just the right amount of romance, dominance, spankings and erotica into this story.
